TripAdvisor Awards UK’s Best Beach to Bournemouth

It's no surprise to us that Bournemouth Beach has come top in another list of the best beaches.

This time it was the users of TripAdvisor who voted our stretch of perfect golden sand the best in the UK, with Brighton in at 4th and Weymouth at 5th. Hengistbury Head, essentially part of the same stretch of coast, came in at 7th.

The win was announced as results of TripAdvisor's annual Traveller’s Choice awards. Bournemouth's long, sandy beach was ranked the fifth best in Europe, coming ahead of beaches in Sicily, Crete and Gran Canaria.

Beaches were ranked according to the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings on TripAdvisor over the past year.
